BioNEWS UPDATE (06-09) My husband, Christopher, and I welcomed our daughter, Samantha Grace, into the world on May 27th, 2007! She's perfect in every way! It's March 1st, now, and Sammi is 9 months old, and Gavin will be nine YEARS old in a month and a half. How time flies! I have enjoyed this past year more than any time in my life!
I'm giving this profile an overhaul, because I am not the same person I was when I originally wrote this. I don't think I'll ever be that person again. Strangely enough, I'm perfectly okay with that. Change is good.
I am civil engineer, now. It's nice to be able to be proud of the field in which I work. For those of you won't haven't known me longer than four years, you'll never understand how truly grateful I am.
My family means everything to me. If you hurt one of my kids, I'll kill you. It's pretty cut-and-dry. If you don't like that attitude, bite me. I don't care. While I'm sure I could have devoted my life to art, music, or writing, instead, I have devoted my life to being a mother, and to my kids.
I'm not the nicest person in the world. I'll be the first to admit it, but I am loyal to those I love and trust. Those people are few and far between, but they do exist.
I have a few very close friends. I will name first names, but the rest of the people in this journal will have mixed initials so that only they will know who they are. My friends are, my ex-roommate, Robert (RC, in this story of my life), Marc, Barry, Letty, Lety, Norma, Julissa, Mary, Adrian, Tarren (TB in this story), Tavana, Tiffany, Dave, Dorothy, Michelle, Gary, Aaron, Sarah, James B., Corey M., Cory G., Buz, Rich, Courtney, Bryan, Andy, Cynthia and Alicia, Rick, Donald, Jill, Brenda, Randy, Don, Kevin, Jared, Andrew, Wendy, Eddie, Greg, Jonathan, Paul, James, Cassie, Dell, George, and my husband and best friend, Chris.
Chris and I got married March 7, 2007. We will be celebrating our one year wedding anniversary in less than a week. Time flies when you are freaking out.
Like I said before, I'm not who I used to be, and never will be again. I will always maintain that change is a good thing.
